I went to my previous site to see what I had done differently back then (my memory fails me) and noticed that I had renamed the "icons" folder to "autoicons" instead. Then I remembered that my web host already has a hidden folder called icons for system icons. The stylesheet was looking in a folder for files that weren't there. I renamed the folder, updated my stylesheet, and it works perfectly now. I think this is a useful tip for anyone who's having an issue with this very simple and wonderful feature.
