Arran Events

First built and launched by Frecosse back in 2006, as Arran Folk Festival, this website along with the company were bought and transformed into Arran Events.

The underlying code of the website remained largely unchanged, and a quick re-skin ensured that the site would continue to work for the new owners.

The site features an online ticket sales system for events being held on the Isle of Arran, which includes the option to download a PDF copy of your ticket for printing, saving on mail costs - an issue for many island businesses. As well as tickets, the custom-built administration for the site allows the day-to-day management of merchandise and music CDs.

Within two days of the successful relaunch of the site in January 2011, former lead-singer of Marillion, Fish, got in touch with Arran Events to arrange a gig on the island for later in the year.
