Kwik Fit Insurance

In 2009, Merchant Soul were commissioned to work with Kwik Fit Insurance Services on re-branding their products. This ultimately led to work on bringing their online services up to the same standard across the board from website to application forms and customer relationship e-mails.

In 2010, an all-new landing page was delivered to Kwik Fit's web engineers to deploy.

Featuring a simplified layout, with emphasis on their car insurance service, the new corporate identity has even been carried through to bullet points and buttons.

The landing page also meets the accessibility requirements for XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.0.

Working in tandem with Kwik Fit's web engineers, Merchant Soul were commissioned to design a new set of pages with a revised question set for both the Car and Home insurance application forms on their site.

These were then built as templates, using jQuery to add special effects to the question set in order to tailor it to the individual customer and fully tested for accessibility.

Summer 2012 has seen the launch of a new range of customer relations e-mails from Kwik Fit Insurance.

Designed to be product specific, these e-mails highlight the latest special offers from Kwik Fit and are aimed at existing customers who have availed themselves of another of Kwik Fit's insurance products.

Before work started on the current range of “Wave” e-mails, we had already set-up a range of customer relationship e-mails more in keeping with the style of Kwik Fit's main website.

These e-mails are designed to be personalised for each recipient.

Since 2010, Merchant Soul has been designing components for the Kwik Fit Insurance Extramile Microsite. These components have then been used in the occasional newsletter sent by e-mail.

In 2010, for the third year runnin Kwik Fit Insurance ran their UK-wide school competition for pupils to nominate their favourite lollipop person using any method they preferred, be it through drawings, paintings, photographs, stories, poems etc.

Merchant Soul were asked to create an e-mail invitation to inspire more schools to get involved in the competition.

We have also produced a suite of Christmas e-mails for Kwik Fit to send from various in-house teams to their suppliers.

And while e-mails need to necessarily comprise a simple design to work in all e-mail clients, and embedded Flash is not supported, we did manage to sneak in some sparkles in these e-mails using an animated GIF file.
