Neil approached Frecosse to help him update his company's online presence, and produce a simpler day-to-day model for his business.

We developed an e-commerce store for his company that can be run form a laptop, anywhere he has an internet connection. This frees Neil's time to attend book launches, events etc.

Neil runs his entire business from a custom-built Filemaker database. Rather than force him to keep two system up-to-date, we wrote some custom software for Filemaker that allows him to export title and author information directly to the web, where our system picks up and reads it, converting as it does, to build the required web pages.

Previously, Neil had printed a catalogue of all his titles on a bi-annual basis, but the problem with this was that it was out-of-date almost as soon as it went to print.

The new website was an opportunity to develop a dynamic PDF catalogue, that is generated at the time the user requests to download a copy - meaning that it's always up-to-date with the current content on the site.
