What you need to know about the changes
When you vote on 3rd May 2007...
In the Local Government elections you will be asked to mark candidates in order of preference (1, 2, 3 etc) instead of marking a single cross (X).
The voting system for the Scottish Parliamentary election hasn't changed. As before, you will be asked to mark a cross (X) next to your choice.
