Zak Vinter

Zak has been skiing since he was 2 years old, initially skiing at the Glasgow Ski Centre, before progressing to racing on snow at the age of 4. One year later Zak achieved a platinum medal at the Nastar race course on a family holiday in Vail, Colorado. Zak has been race training on the dry slope and on the snow for the last 7 years.

Merchant Soul were commissioned to build this website in order to track his career achievements, and build a following for future events.

It's also a chance to showcase his sponsors and attract new ones.

The website uses our standard Content Management System, with a few add-ons to tailor the homepage slideshow and Zak's schedule/results.

A simplified blog has been created, which allows Zak to add content to his own site. We opted not to use WordPress for this, as this provides a lot of options, when Zak only needed to add/edit and categorise his posts. The system does the formatting and layout for him.

The website also hooks into Twitter and Facebook, to provide a more dynamic interaction with his supporters.
