Design & Print
Design for print requires a very different set of skills than those used in design for the web — printed products come in all shapes and sizes, can be folded in a variety of ways, and even use a different colour system from that used to deliver images/text on the web.
Most website designers who have been around for more than ten years actually come from a design and print background, our own Graeme Attkins was a Desktop Publishing Manager back in 1993, and added CD-ROM authoring to his skills before beginning website design and build in 1996.
However, recent graduates in website design often don't have the underlying grounding in design for print and wouldn't know their leading from their kerning.
At Frecosse Website Design, we are all too aware of the differences between paper and web design, but equally know how to get the most from each of them, whilst ensuring that your organisation is represented consistently no matter which medium is being used.
If you are interested in working with Frecosse Website Design for your organisation's design and print needs, please get in touch for a no-obligation chat about your requirements.
