About Driver On Hand
Started in 2009, Driver On Hand is a family-run business aiming to provide a reliable and cost-effective UK-wide service.
I first came up with the idea of Driver On Hand when I was searching for work myself, and found that the person I needed to see or contact was not available, having to either make a delivery, or had been called away through lack of staffing levels. Obviously with today's current financial climate and recession, it is not always reasonably possible to recruit someone either full or part time, for the sake of a couple of hours work. This is where Driver On Hand would become accessible for your needs.
Our business works on two levels. The first is as a courier, delivering anything up to medium-sized items for long or short distances, and the other is if you need a driver to make a delivery or collection using your own vehicle, ie delivering cars or items from a van or truck.
Our company is not complicated or technical, it is just about being available to help any type of business at any time when they find that they need that extra pair of hands.
